Mason is one of the top High School Wrestlers in the USA.
Went 50-4 as a sophomore and placed third in the 112-pound division of the PIAA
tournament and reached the 103-pound AA state final as a freshman. |
He has captured an individual title of the Ironman nvitational tourney. In
the finals, Beckman posted a technical fall, 22-7, 4:52, over Blaine Shutt of Lower
Dauphin. Beckman, who went 4-0, was named the tourney's Most Outstanding Wrestler
and won the award for most takedowns (38 in 4 matches), which set a tourney record.
Mason, won the prestigious the 36-team King of the Mountain Tournament at Central
Mountain High School in Lock Haven, a tourney that features the best Class AA and
AAA teams in the state.
He won the 119-pound title on Saturday. Beckman went 5-0 and decisioned
Nick Francavilla of High Point, N.J., 6-2. in the finals. Francavilla was a
defending King of the Mountain and New Jersey state champion. |

| D'Asia went over the 1,000-point career mark as the
Steelerettes (1-0, 3-1) notched a 20-point Region 1-A win over Commodore Perry. D'asia is averaging 25ppg as a Senior.

Chambers, who verbally committed to St Bonventure after her junior season at Farrell
High School, averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds last season under head coach Ed
Turosky. The Farrell, Pa., product was named Co-MVP of the Mercer Region 1 Class A Conference
and to the Sharon Tip-Off All-Tournament team. Chambers also played AAU ball for the
Pittsburgh Power Black, headed by coach John Tate.
