Jacob Kildoo leaves Grove City as one of the most dominant distance runners in District 10 and school history. During the fall, he was selected as the Erie Times-News Male Cross Country Athlete of the Year and now he is named the D-10 Track and Field Athlete of the Year.


After a superb regular season, Jacob claimed his third consecutive District 10 Class AAA title in the 3,200. He did so in record-breaking fashion, pulling away to win by more than 34 seconds over the second-place finisher. His time of 9 minutes, 22.67 seconds broke his own D-10 record by more than 4 seconds.Kildoo also was the Eagles' star runner on the 3,200 relay, helping the team to a District 10 title. At the PIAA championships in Shippensburg, he finished his career in style with a personal-best third-place finish with a blazing time of 9:11.53. That followed his fourth-place effort in the 2010 PIAA meet. Congratulations to Jacob Kildoo named our May Reinhardts Athlete of the Month.

Lauren was the AA High Jump State Champion at the PIAA state meet in Shippensburg with a personal best jump of 5-4, helping to lead the Hickory Girls Track to a Runner up Status at the state meet. (first West Catholic 59 pts, 2nd Hickory 41)


She finished 7th in both the Discus and Javelin at States. Qualified for the Long Jump at States as well, made her Hickory's first 4 event competitor at a State Meet. She had a dominating D-10 meet in helping the Hickory girls secure a 2nd straight Girls Track
D 10 Title. At the D-10 meet, Lauren won the Discus(135ft 5in), and Javelin (134-10) both with personal best efforts and placed second in the Long Jump and third in the High Jump!

Lauren scored 34 points in the D-10 meet. That effort alone would have placed her
6th in the team standings by herself! Lauren has also proven to be a top Triple Jumper and Shot putter....she is the best Multi-event athlete to ever compete with Hickory Girls Track and Field. She is an amazing worker...often spending 4-5 hours at practice on a given night. Lauren is also a standout in Volleyball...last fall making first team all region as a middle hitter.
